In collaboration with High Fashion Music, Ben Liebrand and the Watson Estate we are presenting you a new release of the iconic Real Mother For Ya album by Johnny Guitar Watson on DCC.

World’s first hybrid DCC album with 44.1kHz 16-bit original songs and remixes by Ben Liebrand on 48kHz 24-bit.

Hey JGW fans, it’s me Ginny G, Johnny G’s baby gurl, and have I got something extra special for y’all!!!

For the first time ever my brother Dejon and I present to you a DCC product of our dad’s music.

What does DCC mean? Well, it stands for Digital Compact Cassette. This is the first hybrid album, mixing the original recordings in 44.1kHz and new mixes in 48kHz. I know my dad would flip over all this kool technology being used to keep his music alive and to keep you interested and supporting his contribution to the music world.

It’s such a blessing to have been chosen by DCC which by the way, is a Dutch invention by Philips. One thing I can say about the Dutch is that they are truly Johnny Guitar Watson supporters and for that, we will always be family.

So get your old ghetto blasters out drop the cassette in, press play and enjoy!
